About The Branch

The Edinburgh and Lothians branch of Dundee United Supporters was formed in 1984 and was the first branch outside the City of Dundee. The branch played a key role in setting up The Federation of Dundee United Supporters Clubs

Our membership covers a wide geographical area covering Edinburgh, Longniddry and Dalkeith in the East, Livingston and Linlithgow in the west as well as West Fife and Kinross. We run a bus to all home games and to selected away games. We are very much a family orientated club and are always on the lookout for new members.Last season we had 91 members and our bus average was 42 so most weeks we have plenty of room for more.

We still see car loads of United supporters doing the 120 mile round trip up the A90/M90 so why not give us a try and travel by coach? See the bus page for details of prices and bus routes/times.

Also see below for details of our extensive branch history feature.

The current committee is:

The History of Edinburgh Arabs

2009 will be the the 25th anniversary for the branch and to celebrate this the committee is pleased to announce that after much research and hard work the first edition of the branch history is now available. It had been hoped to issue it at the end of last season but we hit a few snags along the way which caused some delay.

We are still keen to receive any additional material by way of stories, pictures or any other memorabilia which would add to the history. If it is not recorded now it is unlikely it ever will be. If any current or former member has anything which they feel might be useful please contact any committee member. To enter the history click here or click the Branch History menu option above.
